Country Life - Summer party

So that we didn't have to miss out on carnival again in 2022, we invited everyone to the summer party and let it rip. Under the motto “LandLeben” there was a summer carnival - open air on the grounds around the old school...

We are so grateful and still thrilled that so many people accepted our invitation to the GKC's LandLeben summer party. After a long preparation period, our summer festival started on July 16th. 2022 promptly at 1 p.m. with the Berthelsdorf brass band. Even the somewhat unstable weather conditions couldn't dampen the good mood. When our two theater performances ran in front of a packed tent, the last doubts disappeared, because it was a pretty daring experiment to rehearse a carnival program for the summer. Learning text is somehow easier in winter. And then there was always the big question of whether enough spectators would come when the village festivals and parties in the area felt like they were within walking distance.

Today we can say happily and contentedly: "The strenuous effort was worth it!"

We put together a colorful program and it was so nice to have achieved something together again and brought joy to so many people.
